Sustainability Code

Shaping the future, operating sustainably and investing successfully: in addition to unique architecture, the World Trade Center Dresden offers you a wide range of opportunities for partnerships within the building that will work with you to develop tomorrow's success!

The sustainable building management has been certified platinum, the best award, by the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) since 2022.

The World Trade Center Dresden is aware of its responsibility and has developed a sustainability code for the tenants and users of the buildings in order to achieve the specified climate protection goals. A long-term vision has been developed for the World Trade Center Dresden - "World Trade Center Dresden 2033+".

The sustainable strategic orientation of the World Trade Center Dresden is reflected in numerous short, medium and long-term ESG measures within the framework of management and building operations. These include numerous energy-saving measures, the support of electromobility in the building complex and the planning of photovoltaic systems on the flat roofs (objective: to completely cover the building's own needs for general electricity).

Mission statement

The World Trade Center Dresden is aware of its responsibility to protect the natural resources and the climate in the interests of future generations. The World Trade Center Dresden therefore strives to align its tenancies and building operations with the most sustainable criteria and guidelines possible.

The wish and challenge of all parties is to use resources and energy carefully and economically when managing and using the World Trade Center Dresden and to work together constructively in order to find innovative ways to achieve the most sustainable, resource-saving and ecological management and use of the rental property. Ecological, economic and social aspects should be taken into account equally.

This applies, for example, to the areas of waste management (separation systems, recycling), cleaning (environmentally friendly processes, ecologically harmless cleaning agents) and energy (LED lamps, motion detectors in the traffic areas), but also to equipment that enables sustainable use and management during modernization.

The tenants must also encourage their employees to use the rental property accordingly. All parties and users are therefore striving for the most sustainable use and management of the World Trade Center Dresden. With the help of a long-term and sustainable strategic orientation, we are making the World Trade Center Dresden future-proof and continuing to be successful.
